I have declared my car S.O.R.N. Where is classed as being 'off the road?'?

There are little car parks at the back of my house and am just wondering if these are classed as being 'off the road?'. I would have thought so as, technically, they are off the road but I'm not sure if they are officially off the road. If not what is 'off the road?' I do not know anyone with a driveway that I can use.

if a public car park then it needs to be taxed and mot and insurred, and as from july next year all motors hat are in places were the public can enter will need to be fully insurred even if in your garden, only way around is to put it in a garage

It's only 'off road' if it's not on a public highway. If the parking space is public, i.e. not your private space, then technically I believe it doesn't count as off road.
