I have decided to go into nursing. Should I get my MS or go back for a second BS.?

Are there any advantages to getting my MS (an accelerated BS and MS program leading to NP or Midwifery )? Will the MS allow more opportunities to advance in a hospital or will a BS be sufficient for promotions into administration or work outside of healthcare facilities?
