I have come across a poem, I think I know the Title but not the Author. Help?

The poem might have been created by a friend but I thought I would just ask around if I am incorrect. This is the beginning of the poem:

The possible title is: 'Such Lies'.

"He cannot see the pain; her silent tears won't make a sound. The lie behind such truthful eyes, to know his love is none but lies. His lust and break, but so often forget, the girl that runs between his fingers. The one that's mind is constantly pondering on whether his love is faked for the sake of the ride. Never knowing if his heart truly lies behind his words...."

There's more to it but it's rather long.

Anyone recognise this?

I did a quick google search, and I think it must have been written by a friend, as it doesn't seem to be published anywhere (online anyway) and I don't recognise it.

Is that how the poem is actually formatted? Because it looks more like prose than verse. Maybe it's not a poem, but in fact is the beginning of a short story? Just a thought.
