I have been waiting 8 weeks for my smear test result. Is this right? (uk)?

2 years ago i had severe dysplasia of cervix and had an op. then had to have 6 monthly smears.

I had my last one two months ago and still havent had a letter telling me what the results are.
Is this right???

Its making me paranoid.. like im thinking, what if its bad news and they are delaying telling me so they can fit me in the 4 week KPI period of diagnosis to surgery?

Anyone else had to wait this long?
 
If they made you wait that long, that mean you okay. Now if you had serious problem going on, don't you think they would've had called you. You okay, if they didn't call you
