HPV is the most common STD. It is transmitted through oral sex, if the woman has warts inside or outside of her vagina, or during intercourse because some women don't get the warts externally, but internally. Condoms are not 100% effective, but safer. You had sex with a carrier. You most likely got it from one of several partners. A lot of women don't know they are carriers if they don't get the external warts. It's not in your skin. And yes, you are now a carrier. You may not infect the other person for some reason, but most likely you will.
You will at some point get warts again.
Tell every woman that you are with that you have it PLEASE!!!!! It is one of the leading causes of ovarian cancer, and they can get tested to at least kill the pre-cancerous cells. But, they should be checked once a year. It's only your fault if you don't tell your partner.
