I have been going the gym for exactly 2 months now as of today and read somewhere i should take a 1 week break every 8-10 weeks. I have seen amazing gains in the past 2 months and gained about 10 pounds all together (All muscle probably a few pounds of water weight too) I just don't want to lose my great gains.. =( So should I take the 1 week break or will it destroy my gains? Also can I run a few miles a day to satisfy my need to do exercise during my 1 week break without breaking down my muscle, also should i continue with taking a lot of protein or cut it down a bit?
