I have become that which I hate...

I drive a 1987 Toyota Celica. It's not fancy, it's not riced up, it doesn't have 20000 dollars worth of body work on it. It's just an ordinary Celica used to get to and from work each day.

But, a few days ago, my muffler broke. So, now my car's really loud. It sounds like those neons or civics that I see driving around like they're king shit. So, I shall remain that which I hate until I can arrange to get that fixed.

Frankly, I think it's rather annoying.

My muffler has been messed up since I got my car, and I've gotten over the whole loud and obnoxious thing. I honestly don't see why people pay money to be loud and obnoxious.

Guess you're lucky, in a way. Here, driving with a broken muffler gets you stopped by the police. Had a hole in the tail pipe once, and used good old duct tape until I could afford to get it fixed.

Duct tape truly is part of the force. Dark side, light side, and can be used to fix just about everything but a broken heart.

I tried that once. Only ended ripping out my chest hairs.

If they had a "muffler" option in the gifts section at the Maul, I'd definatly spring for one for you, buddy. :D

I didnt have the money for a catalitic converter once.. got a loan for 1k for "auto repairs" spent 250 on the converter and the rest on shit for me... got my car fixed, cool stuff, and my credit rating went up..

It's not my muffler itself.

I got it looked at and it's my flex pipe or whatever it's called. The thing that goes from the catalytic converter to the manifold.

I can get it fixed for about 150 bucks. Which I will do when I have time.
