So, I've always wondered about this and it was brought up in my history class. I'm not worried about a draft but let's say there was one. I'm 18 years old, freshman in college and have had asthma all my life. I do have an inhaler and a "controller" type inhaler, I'm not sure what it's called because my asthma was and kinda still is pretty bad. My main question is about the draft, would I be drafted, also to throw in the mix of my asthma, I'm allergic to a lot of things which affect my breathing, even during the summer I have asthma attacks and when it gets very cold. So, to the point, what would happen in my situation if I wanted to join the military or if a draft would ever happen?
I have Asthma, will that affect joining the military or even a draft?
