loan process work? my DH & I applied for a fha loan through boa 3-27-08. The LO said you should be approved . husband score is 517(ssa-dis(939 month) & mine is a 579(1600 monthly 2 yrs. @ job in 5-08). We did have some collections on our credit we took care of earlier this year except for a couple collections that total maybe $700 & they were more than 2 yrs. old. The LO told us don't worry about paying them off right now. I don't have any open credit but have paid my rent on time for for past 3 years. I have turned in last 2 yr W-2, 2 mo. bank statement , ssa statement, pay stubs, & explaination letter on 3-31 also. They fedexedme a package of a formal FHA loan app. to sign on april 2 & I fedexed it back the same day then Friday 4-4 I get some disclosure papers w/ gfe in the mail to sign I mail back on mon.I checked on line & it is still in underwritng.This is our 1st time buying a brand new home in devolopment ;picked everything out & signed purch agr w/ $500 earnest .They offer free 3% down & 3600C
