I have Ants in my garden around my strawberry plants are they bad for them and if so

HOW DO I GET RID OF THEM? I would like to do this without hurting my plants as well
 
Yes the ants will cover the heart of the plant and kill it.....Try Lowes or Home Depot for spray.......Mean time I would dust talc powder on the ground..
 
Grits or baby powder. I get ants in my house in the summer and baby powder works great. Grits works out in the yard.
 
yes, and also ants spread those nasty aphids on plants. do not buy any spray - u will nuke your strawberries as well as ants. there is a product by bayer, looks like granules. u put them in spots where ants are walking, it gets attached to them and they get it inside and it kill everybody. thou it might take some time. there is another product by bayer - powder which u dissolve in water and then poor it into holes. i don't know whether it is harmful to plants, but we did it between stones in our front yard - kills those nasty creatures in an instant. the next day front yard was filled with corpses. obviously before dying those nasty things tried to get out of their house. i hate ants
