I have ankle pains from somebody fallong ontop of me in a basketball game....

...Should I see a doctor? A 115 pound girl's knee went into the inner side of my left ankle/ leg. It immideatley swelled, but by the time practice was over (approx. 7 minutes later) the swelling went down and all that was left was a bright red mark and a dull pain. I iced my ankle that night, and I could barely walk on it. The swelling never came back, and a faint purple mark was there for about a day. what should I do?
 
If your ankle hurts so bad that you are unable to walk normally or do your regular activities in a week I \would go to the doctor. I broke my toe in Oct. and I didn't go to the doctor for a week and a half. So I would continue to watch your ankle and you should be able to determine whether or not you should by the pain you have. its probably just a bruise, a deep one maybe, if you cant walk on it without screaming or crying go to the doctor.
