It says J-C30 on the bottom, looks like its in great condition. I cant even figure out how to turn it on lol. about 35ish yrs old. I would like to be able to use it to sew!
I have an old Riccar sewing machine and want to know anything and everything I can about it.?

machine is a workhorse
that machine is actually the best sewing machine i own, i wouldn't get rid of it for anything. It goes through layers and thick denim and leather like they are silk, the only problem is i can't find a manual anywhere so whenever i have issues i have to drag that 100 lb machine to the local guy that fixes machines for help.
