Car runs well but when I drive at night and break, the brake lights shut off and the reverse lights come on. It I use the turn signal and and break the turn signal won't blink but all the back lights will blink as if I turned on the hazard switch. I do have a mistery oil leak that has made the engine compartment a little oily. This oil is dirty. Is it possible that the dirty oil that has carbon in it, could cause one of the electrical connections to short?
