I have an idea....Could this work?

I was thinking about all the landfills and how everything just sits there, plastic like forever, and thought, "what if we just ground everything up in a huge masher or something, and made everthing into like a kind of mulch. Could we turn those landfills into farms one day?
 
Plastic doesn't fertilize plants it kills them. What r u talking about? Y don't we just gather all the trash up every 10 years and rocket it into a nearby star so it can just burn up.
