...card on a Blackberry 8310.? I would like someone to lead me in the right direction. Links to tutorials or a list of steps I need to take in order to successfully use the phone without ruining it. To clarify the i856W Motorola by Boostmobile has a broken screen, hence, the need to use a different phone (Blackberry 8310 V4.2.2.170 Platform 2.5.0.30)
 
Blackberry phones connect to the system differently than other phones. Specifically, when a service provider activates a Blackberry phone, they must provide service on the Blackberry (RIM) network for it to work properly.

Boost Mobile has an Unlimited Blackberry plan. You will need to contact Boost and have them add the Blackberry service to your plan. It cannot be done any other way.

Note: I believe this plan is only for the Blackberry 8330 but you can check with Boost to see if your phone can be used on the plan.
