It will, but you need a very good antenna for over-the-air (OTA) digital TV reception in the U.S. That's an excellent set, so you won't want to cut corners on the antenna. Get the best you can afford, and if you're in a good signal area, you'll enjoy excellent HD on your Hitachi.
