A Andrew W New member Jan 15, 2010 #1 I only hear the noise when I'm in reverse, accelerating, and decelerating. The whirring noise only occurs up to 30 mph. I don't hear it past that or when its idling. I've checked the fluids and they seem fine. I also just changed the air filter.
