i have an ab lounge i'm wonderin how long to get abs?

ab lounge won't get rid of fat or stomach.

You already have abs. doing ab workouts will only structure and tighten your abs, but FAT is what covers it.

you need to do cardio, especially cardio.

RUN 3-4 days a week. I would prefer a run every morning.

To really maintain a nice body, it takes hard work and a lifestyle change. It's time to take control of YOUR body and not let other urges or desires get in the way.

Start off and run about 15 minutes everyday. Then increase to a steady 30 minute run daily. Go to bed early, no more gabbing with friends late at night. You can see them tomorrow. Sleep before midnight at best because your system is going to hyperact and fall out of balance if you're up during 1-3a.m.

Chinese medicine says too much fire from the liver if you're awake at 1-3a.m. Western docs say liver is most active 1-3a.m. AGREED!

Wake up EARLY! If you can wake up at 4a.m. every morning, and exercise from 4-5a.m., you will be more recharged than anyone else. When the sun passes through for sunrise, the solar energy is the GREATEST at that hour. That's why in India, people wake up to breathe by the Ganges river at 4a.m. to 5a.m. In Chinese medicine, they say the YANG energy is strongest at 4a.m.-5a.m.

Anyway, if you can't wake up that early, just wake up earlier than usual and go workout. If you can't, then workout after school.

In any case, schedule what is compatible to your schedule; just make running a priority.

Run everyday. Piss your body off! That's my philosophy in getting in shape. Your mind will test you because it's not routine yet. You gotta force yourself and yell at your body and tell it, "HEY! HOLD ON! YOU STILL GOTTA FINISH RUNNING FOR 30 MINUTES, SO STOP WHINING!" You take control. Don't let your mind or body tell you otherwise.

Eat right! Wanna learn how to discipline your body and mind for eating properly? Eat a good lunch, not too full. Eat slowly, and just enough. Don't eat till you fill. For dinner, eat very small. NO SNACKS ANYTIME! two meals a day!

Wanna really stand above the rest? Don't eat meat. Your body takes more power and work to break down the meat. And it's not clean! All that bacteria stays in your system and the fats are harder to break down. Tofu is a great source of protein as well as SOY products. They are more efficient in the body and cleaner. It's like, a cleaner form of gas.

It's all about lifestyle change. If you can go a week straight, no skipping days, you will find it easier to keep up. Just NEVER drop the ball cuz then you'll start finding other excuses and reasons in the future to drop the ball again, anda gain, till you just go a week without working out.

Forget the ab lounge right now. Just go run. You need to burn fat first, then when you get used to the workout routine, start throwing in the ab routine. you don't wanna burn yourself out ya know? Slowly get used to it.
