I have an 95 jeep GC. Disabled alarm but still goes off. I can't get the jeep to start.?

I disabled the alarm with the purple and yellow wire on the drivers kick panel. The alarm still went off. Now i can't get my jeep to start.
I disabled the alarm by wiring it to the purple and yellow wire by the drivers kick panel. But, the alarm still goes off. The jeep won't start.
