I have an 83 Honda Shadow. When I try to start it it goes click click and

doesn't turn over. What's wrong? I hear clicking in the fuse box. Could it be the fuse? When I insert the keys into the ignition the lights go on but when I hit the start button the headlight goes out.
 
either your battery is dead (charge it) , has loose conncetions, or it has a bad cell. if it still won't start after a full overnight charge, buy a new battery and fully charge that. make sure your cables ends are clean and attached tight.
