I have an 07 ford fusion with an AUX button but no AUX input?

When i click the button, it says "no aux audio" something like that. & i've looked in the middle console where it should be & theres only the little cigarette lighter thingy in there. Is it missing it or is it just suppose to have that? I want to plug in my iPod w/o the iTrip...
