It looked like a wart because it was the same color as my skin and it was there for like 8 months - than out of the blue one day it started to hurt a little so i felt it and it was a little bigger and it looked like a white head - than when i woke up in the morning it looked like kind of black and purple - then i decided to wash it in the shower and when i got out it was almost like i popped it???? does any one know what this is???

Where on your but is it? If it's near your genitals it could be a genital wart, or it could be a skin tag. I'd get it checked out if I were you!

Do not "Pop" it or squeeze it. If it's a boil you could force the puss (infection) into the fascia (skin layers) and, that can mean it will migrate to another part of the body even an internal organ.
See your primary so he can lance it, it has to drain and heal properly, from the bottom up, or it will reinfect. These can be a lot more dangerous then one would think.

The first part about being a wart, I can't help you with.
I have had the same thing on the inside of my leg, where it was this giant black and blue pus and blood filled bubble. Found out it was a really ingrown hair that managed to get really infected.
But of course, when you are in 110 degree weather in Iraq, while sweating your ass off wearing BDU's and going commando....
