was driving and suddenly shut of? I have a Toyota Camry 1998. It has always worked like a champion. Last week I was driving and suddenly shut off itself. As I'm unemployed because the situation in the country I checked myself all the fuses the fuel relay, and finally as I did not have anybody with me at home to turn the car on while checking the fuel pump, I decided to risk my luck and replaced the fuel pump...you know what?...it was not the fuel pump...money lost.
I have it at home and walking without a car. I have no idea what the problem is. When you try to start it the battery and everything seems fine but it does not turn on, like if it had no fuel, but I checked and there is pressure in the fuel line, the tank is full with premium gas.

Pls, any advice will be appreciated as I have no choice now but try to resolve the problem myself at home where the car is after a truck brought me home.

Thanks

check your alternator. I'm pretty sure it is that. Disconnect your alternator and you can take it into kragen or autozone and they will test it out.

I don't want to make you feel bad but what about the fuel pump relay? If that's not it I would bet on the ECM. Sorry
