...plasma tv with a HDMI port? so i bought the VGA to HDMI cable so i could connect my toshiba lap top to my insignia plasma tv. the instructions on the tv's manual were 3 steps:
1.connect the cable from t.v. to computer
2.connect the stereo plug to dual rca from the computer to the t.v.
3. turn on computer and t.v.
i followed the steps and nothing happened. i know it's probably something simple but i don't know what. please help me out!
i also made sure that the t.v. was on the HDMI/DVI2 input but the screen read that there was nothing connected
