...successfull and it's killing me!? I know shouldn't complain, I have a booming bakery and its growing as we speak. Ive heard it all as you are lucky to be successfull because others have closed their doors. The thing is...I have a little 3year old that needs me more than ever and I hardly spend time with her the more the business grows..and when i do have time to spend with her all I do is think about work!!! I can't stand that on my days off I have to think and analyze and organize things in my head. I have to admit I can't just hire people and leave the business on it's own. My question is...how do you guys do it to keep your head up high and not wake up in the mornings with my stomach in knots wanting to quit because I have to start a big day again and no time with my family? How do you not quit and keep going? This is so hard and i know some of you are going to let me have it, but by all means let me have it. Thank you for you time!

Lucy, firstly go easy on yourself, success is earned by hard work and a lot of sacrifices have to be made along the way. The business though is dictating what you do and you have allowed it to take over your life to the point where you can no longer smell the roses along the way and the time with your 3 year old can never be had again so you both will lose out.

As the boss you need to manage the business properly and that includes making some tough decisions about what you want from it. Then organise yourself, recruit, train and delegate responsibility to someone suitably qualified to look after your business while you do the things you want to do including giving true quality time to your daughter.

You can do this! And I'm sure you can easily understand the consequences of making the current situation worse.
