But im wanting to play music from a usb stick through my stereo, is there a device that i can plug into my stereo so i can play my music from the usb stick?. thanks
 
im not sure but check the sony website for a device like that (even if your stereo is not sony) but if you have a laptop or desktop there's a cable you can get for that at radio shack rca to1/8. if your a novice with av tech it looks like the the end on head phones for your ipod or mp3 player and on the other side it has whats plugs into the stereo.
