i have a sealed box for my system and my rockford fosgate p2's sound like

they are bottoming out why is that? why do sealed sub boxes smake the subs sound like sh*t? my amp isnt to power full for the subs. my subs are 500 wats rms and the amp is only 450 watts max.

Is the interior volume of the box properly sized?

Are you using a capacitor?

Is the polarity correct?

Are the cross-over points set properly for the frequency response range of the subs?

Sealed sub boxes make subs sound different because it brings out the subtle details while a ported box will loose most detail in exchange for volume.
