I wouldnt do it even if both subs are the same ohms. Because they're different models, they're gonna respond differently to the same note. Even a little difference can cause cancellation and make your system sound horrible

they are both in the same box, would it be safe to hook both of them up into my 1000 watt sony xplode amp? the only reason i ask is i have heard something about different ohm loads with those two speakers... but i cant seem to find anything about it on the internet... thank you for answering if you can

You can do whatever you want!
The stuff is yours right? of course it is!!

Yes it's safe - the reason that it's recommended NOT to connect subs with different ohm loads and such to the same amp is because for your system to sound optimal, everything should match.

What you have to do though is go by the sub with the lowest power handling. If you go off of the other sub, then you'll blow the weaker sub, but if course if the more powerful sub is underpowered, then it isn't going to sound as good as it's supposed to.
