ok to be far below the RMS? its a fosgate enclosure and rated at 4 ohms. id be pushing 150 watts out of the amp i believe. one speaker is rated 500 watts rms but there are 2 in the enclosure and it states that the enclosures rms is 1000 watts rms.
That would be really bad for the subs... Underpower them, especially by that much is far worse than overpowering them... The subs would give out sooner than later...
just think, if ur speakers says, 150 or 200 RMS thats all that can give you, if you go over that, that would be a damaged on ur sub, try it on, you will see, it will sound more, for a min!!!
