i have a question about subs?

I'm getting 2 pioneer champion series-pro and a hifonics brutis 2000 watt amp. i have a 1999 honda civic. im not sure what this means but will i have to get a capacitor or alternator or anything?

i already have the box, speaker wire, tweeters, subs, amp, and install kit. do i need anything else?
 
I believe the rule of thumb is for every 1000 watts you should have 1 farad to avoid burning out your alternator and to have that "true" sound. If you are going for max bass without killing your car I would suggest either a 2.0 Farad power cap or at least 1 x 1.0 Farad power cap. The whole point of a power cap is to store extra juice to lessen the drain straight from your battery before your alternator has a chance to charge it. You will notice a huge difference with/without one. Very easy to install and typically you can get a good brand cap for around $100. If you go to visions you can usually talk them down, never settle for sticker price.
