Are FORD fusions good cars to own? They are pretty sporty vehicles just not sure about durability

Despite what everyone says about fords catching on fire, and found on road dead... that's all in the past, Ford had a rough times in the 90s... but have recovered.... i honestly don't think there's a better quality car or truck out there better than fords right now... honda and toyota are great don't get me wrong... but i'm a Ford guy anyways 
But the new fusions beat the honda and toyotas in every comparison from many companies...

They are incredibly reliable, especially the new 2010 model. In fact they are one of the most reliable vehicles you can get.
