...circumstances? So I just got Yaz, and my doctor wants me to take it differently than the instructions. She wants me to take all of the active pills, and instead of taking the 4 sugar pills, open a new package and start taking the active pills in that. She wants me to take it like this for a few months, and then stop taking it for a week and restart.
So my actual question is, is this going to make it any less effective at preventing pregnancy?
I'm supposed to take it like this to help make my period lighter.
