i have a question about a dura max 6.6ltr truck dash board light flashing and beeping?

i was doing a brake job on a dura max truck after i was done i went to clear the light off the dash board its the brake symbol with a wrench on the side of it. well when i attempted this the light started to flash and beeping. does anyone know how to clear this light and stop the beeping
