i have a 1992 jeep cherokee with a 4.0. i have checked all of the vacuum line and they are all connected and my motor is idling high in park and i was wondering what sensors could be causing this and also when your going down the road it doesn't want to shift right, it wont shift out of first gear until it hits about 3,000rpm and it wont shift out second gear until it hits about 4,000rpm, would the idling high be causing the transmission to act up?
