I put the truck into 4 wheel drive and the light does not come on to show it is in, but then the front right wheel pops as if it is trying to engage or disengage one, so I take it back out. My question I guess is, does this seem like a cable or something is stretched and not allowing it to go into 4 wheel drive or what. The gear shift is hard to put into 4 low and 4 high is easy to go to, but just does not seem to be going in. The gear shift on the column shows drive, but it is almost in 2nd when it engages, would this have something to do with it.
