I was driving down the road and all of the sudden the speedometer went crazy and all the lights on the dash came on. I pulled into a safe location and then turned the car off and turned it back on. All the dash warning signs came on again and when I tried to put the car in reverse it would not budge. The shifter would not move. When running the RPM did not move even when stepping on the gas pedal. The stereo would not work or my key less. One hour later everything started to work again except the airbag light stayed on and the cruise did not work.

sounds like a bus communication problem between modules on your vehicle. your vehicle communicates on whats called a "can" (controller area network) bus primarily. when messages dont get sent properly or at all, the cluster doesnt know what to do with inadequate or no information. take it to the dealer, it will probably be a front control module is my guess. the front control module, on this vehicle, acts as a gateway to all of the different bus systems. when they go out, it would kill all other communication. as far as no acceleration, this vehicle has electronic throttle control, so as a safety precaution there would be no throttle allowed until proper messages were being sent/recieved. i do alot of these kinds of problems at work. please write me and let me know what it ends up being, im curious. thank you.
