i have a presentation on German culture and i need help?

can someone tell me what does Deutschland culture differ from others like
-events (the Berlin Wall in the past)<-- details if you can
- holidays ("Karneval der Kulturen" ) <-- details if you can
- how do you see things differently than others (like if you see 2 males in the street holding there hands Germans would consider them gay) is it true?
- food <-- details if you can
- language (like in America they say the man kicked the pocket if u translate it it has no meaning ! but it means that he died)<-- i need this
- clothing
