It must have had film in it. The battery is built into the film. I would try the old film holder that work.(after your done with this film). You might have a bad battery on the film case you're using . If it doesn't work replace the camera,as it will be cheaper than wasting film.

You can buy a Polaroid 600 for 10 bucks on ebay really not a big deal no matter what happens.

when i got it,it flashed when i pressed the button it didn't have any film in it,but hours later when i tried to use it it didn't flash anymore,it's a Polaroid 600 business edition camera. did i brake it or something. please please help me.

The only reason it flashed was because the capacitors were holding the charge from the last roll of film that was in it - pretty impressive, if you ask me.

The flash is powered by the film pack... the camera itself has no battery.

You do know that Polaroid no longer produces film for these cameras don't you?

If it breaks... put up another few dollars and buy another one. I just sold my 600 for $15 at a flea market... I was happy to get something for it and mine still had the leather case, strap and even a few packs of 600 film.
