My dad bought a Panasonic TV last week. Along with it he bought an aftermarket sound bar. We got it home and tried to hook it up, only to find out that the Panasonic TV has a Digital Optical Audio output that requires a Panasonic RP-CA2030A Optical Cable, rather than the regular RCA jacks.
We went to Best Buy and we were informed that there is NO WAY to adapt the audio cables. As much as I would love to trust the well-informed salespeople at Best Buy, I am just not ready to. Can someone tell me if they are wrong or right? Is there any way whatsoever to adapt this thing?
