I have a new tank with new fish in it. Its still cloudy because of conditioning.?

You are having a bacterial bloom because your tank is starting to cycle. You need a test kit to test for Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate to know when the cycle is complete. 4-8 weeks although the cloudy water will dissipate once the bacteria settles onto the surfaces of objects.

Depending on how may gallons it is. Also it depends on the strength and size of your filter. If u have an average size tank (19-24) with a regular filter then I would say a day to two days. If it is not clearing up within the next day and 1/2 then double up on the filter's filter pads.

Hope it helps!

You might have put too much of fish food that made the water murky. Just try my trick : take a bowl of water and let it adjust itself to the same temperature as the water in the aquarium, then carefully transfer the fishes to the bowl (never take out the fish with your hands, use a laddle instead) throw away the murky water in the aquarium and clean it thoroughly and then pour water to an adequate level. This time also the water temperature should be just the same or the fish may die. When temperature level becomes the same put back the fish in the aquarium and then its all okay.
