that are making the lights we? Where the water level is high, (where it is supposed to be) the bubbles from the air stone are splashing on the inside of the lid and on the light tubes. Will the lights be ok? I think it is just splashing on the middle of the lights not on the ends.
 
Yes they will be fine - only concern would be if they are Tungsten lights (would be very hot) and cold water on hot glass is rarely good....

As you rightly allude too, it's the ends where the power comes in that you want to worry about, but these are usually fairly water tight (i've had one fall in the tank before and all was ok!)

You may wish to consider wiping them down when you clean the tank to remove any residue or calcification / algae growth. Also make sure you have used the correct fuses to satisfy yourself that the fuse will blow if there is ever a problem
