I have a net book with no disc drive and windows 7 installed?

I am trying to find a good, free virtual Cd drive thing, but so far the best ones, like daemon tools, have messed my computer up and i had to do a system restore, i need a virtual drive that works, but does not require a reboot, because the ones i tried that need the reboot raped my net book.
