in my head i come up with entire songs with chorus, verses, bridges and such. i really amaze myself with what i can come up with but i dont play an instrument and dont even know if it's realistic that i would be able to translate my thoughts into actual guitar riffs and drumming. i come up with mainly hardcore/screamo music which adds to the problem because in my social group it would be very strange for me to join a band of this sort for obvious reasons. i have a voice recorder that ive been using whenever the music is flowing and have made over 80 tracks, many full length songs where i vocalize the guitar (sounds ridiculous but with hardcore music its actually pretty easy). im an excellent vocalist and would obviously love to be famous and in a popular band. anyone have any suggestions or know how easy it is to translate thoughts into music?
i have a natural songwriting ability but no use for it. what to do?
