I have a Motorola modem from At&t and the internet light is off... Any ideas? Bad modem?

I got silver motorola , too. I call them, and they will say to unplug it, reboot, and plug it back in, The black wire. You can click on tools on the bar at top of page, click internet options and then click connections. If you have a modem, you dont need " any " " dial up : delete it, and click use no lan, and have no connections in the box.
If you have a modem, you should be on with at least 6mbs, at 24.95. Like me. I called, and they offered me a 5 dolar reduction for a year with 20.00 dollar reward card.
