i have a mazda 3 and the winshield wiper on the driver side has stopped working?

but the passenger side wiper works just fine whats wrong?

nut loose or arm striped out not hard to buy a new arm or replace and possible it came loose from motor but most likey arm loose by window easy to check or replace
