I have a major interest in opening my own clothing store?

What are the basics that are necessary to know about opening a store. And selling the clothes.
Oh, and how can I avoid the store closing down.
I'm still young so can you tell me what majors and minors I should take in college?
 
money is key! you have to have constant look over it. if your income becomes less every month then you need to think of a new way to get people back into your store.

you got to work your hardest at selling whatever merchandise you have.

a buisness, accounting, or managment degree would help with this job. (mainly management and buisness)
