know if medicaid will need to be paid? on 7/7/07 I was in an accident with a drunk driver that ran from the scene of the accident. The accident left me permantly disabled in my right leg because of this. The car we were in the owner stated the male did not have permission to drive so they say it was unlawful use of the vehicle. The person that owned the car denied coverage with there insurance so b/c I lived with my mother we were able to use her insurance. The insurance company has offered 28 grand with me to receive 25 grand but my lawyer is unsure if medicaid has to be paid back anything due to the fact they paid all of my medical bills. If you could help me found out this information I would be grateful. This is in the sate of Virginia
