I have a Kicker cvr 15 and a 550 watt 2 channel kicker amp and whenever the

sub hits hard the protect light on? whenever the sub hits hard the amp cuts off and the protection light comes on...then after a few seconds it comes back on what do I do? do i need a capacitor or what. Any help is appreciated.

how is the sub wired? seems like the sub might be wired up wrong
