i have a kenwood kdc-x395 hu and a 1200 watt sony explod amp and 2 12 inch dvc rockford fosgate 250 watt rms?

i have my subs bridged and my amp is 500 watts bridged at 4 ohms.my subs are bridged at 4ohms.i set my gain using 60hz tone,and my bass boost on hu is all the way up and bass is +8 and volume is 28 out of 35,but still not enough bass???,,,what can i do to fix this??? i figured my voltage by 500 watts(amp) and 4ohms subs,,500x4=2,000+sq. rt.=44.7volts,but not enough bass for me????/
 
Not dissing your setup, but as far as amps go, sony is on the low end of the quality scale

now as far as your bass goes i'll give you an example:
***ok just using a sony amp in this example:

# RMS Power Rating:

* 4 ohms: 330 watts x 1 chan.
* 2 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan.

# Max power output: 1100 watts

at a 4 ohm load, it puts out 330 watts rms and about 660 watts max***

if your using a 1200 sony amp, your getting a fraction of the 1200 watts
the 1200 watts is typically at either 1 or 2 ohm (some amps only stable up to 2 ohms)
so your not getting enough bass because your not getting the power you think you are


honestly, you would probably get more bass, if you only have one sub hooked up to your amp
