i have a 2001 Honda CR125R. when i kickstart it, it revs very high and it idles at full throttle. when im riding i can take my hand off the throttle and it will ride around. what could be causing this? how do i properly adjust my idle?
i recently had my carb cleaned and rebuilt

sounds like somethings sticking in your carb. take the carb off the engine and either take it apart and clean all the pieces individually-or if you are not capable of that, buy a can of Carb+Choke cleaner and spray it down, spray all passages and moving parts

The throttle cable is stuck or misadjusted. Some idiots can't keep their hands off other people's stuff and think it's funny to do this kind of crap. Slack off the cable with its adjusters on the handlebar. It could also be that the idle stop screw on the carburetor has been tightened up to cause this high idle. You'll know if it's this when you loosen the cable and the idle doesn't change. You should go to the shop and have the mechanic point to this if you can't find it.

there is an idle screw on the carburator and an adjustment on your twist throttle. if that doesn't fix it your reed valves are messed up
